Class 6’s Business Maths Main Lesson came to life at last week’s Friday market, as students put their learning into practice by running their very own small businesses.
After spending last term developing business ideas, planning products, working out costs and preparing for the big day, the students were thrilled to finally open their stalls to the school community. From delicious baked goods, frozen treats and cold drinks to comic books, beauty products, crochet creations and more, there was something for everyone.
The afternoon was a wonderful success and was so well attended and supported by our school community. Together, Class 6 raised nearly $2,000 for charities chosen by the class.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and supported the students. We are incredibly proud of all that Class 6 achieved, and of the enthusiasm, creativity and hard work they brought to this special project!
