What a delightful start to the year we had this week across the Primary School. Highlights were: the Class 1 children crossing the rainbow bridge; the Kindergarten children beginning their first day; Class 3 children’s first day with their new teacher and the former Class 6 students beginning their first day of High School. Many milestones for many families and children across our school mostly met with a sense of calm and optimism.
As a Steiner school we value the importance of these milestones and the Rainbow Bridge Ceremony is an example of how a simple and beautiful ritual can mark these important times.
