Spring is upon us once again and at this joy filled time of the year, we warmly invite our community, family and friends to come and celebrate with us at The Cape Byron Steiner Spring Fair.
On Saturday 17th September from 10am ~ 3:00 pm we will be creating a day full of home grown fun, wonder and surprises for the whole family.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Rebirth and Renewal’ symbolised by the rebirth of the caterpillar into the beautiful butterfly. At the fair, your family can delve into the crystal dig, visit kindy’s wondrous puppet show, discover some interesting native bush tucker and indigenous art, books, old fashioned games and more.
Our opening ceremony will start with an Acknowledgment of Country, followed by some performances from Classes 3 and 4. This will be followed by a full day of musical entertainment across two stages from our talented students of all ages, with duo’s, trio’s, choirs, ensembles and varied band performances.
There are some amazing prizes to be won in the raffle so make sure you get your tickets soon. You can purchase tickets online via the tab above.
Our beautiful, natural craft activities will be on offer again this year. These include rainbow ribbons, silk painting, candle decorating, garland making and more….
Don’t miss your chance to pick up some crafted treasures from our abundant craft stall. The handcrafts are natural, unique and created lovingly by our parents and staff. We will also have more treasures from Jo at Indigo Inspirations and books from Susan Perrow.
The Y project team will also be at the fair; available for our young people to see the range of support they offer including life skills, vocational and study support, rhythmic massage, anthroposophic remedies, treatments, eurythmy and mentoring conversations.
Relax at the Chai Tent or tempt your tastebuds with delicious hot and cold food, Ice Cream and drinks. Cakes, tea and coffee are available from the High School Cafe all served with lots of smiles and love.
An ATM will also be available.
Come and enjoy the fun with us, we look forward to seeing you there!
Off site parking and a free shuttle bus service will be operating all day from two locations: The farm bus shelter and corner of William Flick lane, Ewingsdale. Limited on site parking will be available, by gold coin donation.
