Class 5 recently celebrated their vibrant India Day, a joyful culmination of their studies on Indian culture.
Students dressed in beautiful traditional attire and began the day with a peaceful yoga session led by Hannah. They created intricate mandalas, had their hands adorned with stunning henna designs, and enjoyed a delicious Indian feast served on banana leaves — eating with their hands just as is traditional.
The highlight of the day was a fabulous performance for parents, featuring mantras, songs, a lively rap, and an energetic dance. The children’s joy and enthusiasm shone brightly throughout the day, making it a memorable and meaningful celebration for all.
