“Our children don’t need teachers who are whole.

They need models of striving towards wholeness.

They don’t need a school that is whole.

It is quite enough that they experience a school community seeking to become more whole than it is. It is enough that we seriously aspire to become more whole, both as individual teachers and as a school community.”

  – Steiner educator and sculptor,  Michael Howard, Educating the Will.

As we celebrated Autumn Festival week,  our students worked with Mudjai, a Gumbaynggirr man who worked with each class to develop gratitude for different sacred laws and elements through story telling, connection to country and community building.

As the season turns, our Autumn festival is a celebration of gratitude and connection to the rhythms of the earth.  This is a time to reflect and give thanks. Our school community gathered to share songs,  music and provide offerings, honouring the abundance of nature.

A huge thank you to our school community for the 250+ kilos of produce, which was donated to Liberation Larder in Byron Bay.
