Last week we celebrated Book Week 2024 with the theme “Reading is Magic”, allowing for reflection of our indigenous culture by listening to country as the first storyteller.
Our librarian Charlotte who dressed up as The Snow Queen from the Chronicles of Narnia, did a beautiful display, including books with costume ideas to inspire students and also included many of the award-winning books which are available for loan to our students.
Every year, we have a parade on the top lawn where students proudly show off their amazing and original costumes, and this year was no exception. It was a sunny day filled with lots of fun, as families were invited to watch the parade and the play put on by the Primary teachers, who also dressed up and put in lots of effort to make the event special. The creativity and enthusiasm were truly on display, making it a memorable day for everyone involved!
