Year 9 students had a great day with Jess and Andy visiting the Cape Byron Lighthouse on Wednesday as part of their Geography syllabus requirements. They discussed the impacts of tourism with NSW NPWS staff and explored the history of Byron Bay during their tours of the Cape Byron Lighthouse and museum. They then went in to the township of Byron Bay and surveyed the general public on factors that are influencing change in Byron Bay. They all conducted themselves maturely throughout the day and had an excellent time.
