The theme this year is “Celebration” – celebrating Spring, our school, our 30th birthday, the new innovation building, students past and present. There will be special events through the day including a special opening ceremony and a naming ceremony for the new building. There will be plenty of things for you, your friends and families to enjoy so please share the festival date with them too. We are very excited to be creating this year’s Spring Fair and we look forward to sharing it with you all.
As you know, creating the Spring Fair takes all of us as a community to come together and offer our time, skills, talents and love. Below are all the ways you can get involved and join in the fun.
The Spring Fair is an opportunity for us to raise much needed funds for the school, funds will go towards music and sports equipment and helping to complete the walkway from the Innovation Centre.
This year we are focusing on selling complete raffle booklets (to the 1 person/family) for just $20 and we have 4 fantastic prizes for the students that sell the highest number of complete books! 2 x Private Circus Classes and 2 x Book Vouchers Prizes
Please give the complete raffle books to Reception and accept a crystal as a thank you and feel free to collect more! Every single raffle ticket sold counts and is a big help in our fundraising efforts.
We are currently seeking donations for the Silent Auction, if you would like to offer a donation please contact – Jen Henderson – 0413057600/ firstname.lastname@example.org
Time to spring clean your wardrobe! We ask that you start considering an early ‘spring clean out’ for quality items you would be happy to donate such as clothing, toys, small furniture items, kitchen gadgets and books. Please note that we don’t want any junk or electrical items, (what doesn’t sell we pack up and get rid of which is very time/energy consuming).
Please bring your donations to Class 3 – there will be a White Elephant Box. Should you require any assistance please contact Rachel 0439 382657

YUM!

Supporting your class activity is very important and adds to the specialness of the Spring Fair. Please ensure you help your class with the preparations and sign up for rosters on the day. Your help makes the world of difference!
Calling all Alumni
Calling all parents who are past students of Cape Byron to get in touch to help provide material for our media project that documents the history of our school. This might include old photos, video footage and a willingness to give a short interview so we have anecdotal snippets. If you are still in touch with friends who have moved away and feel they would also be willing to contribute please pass this on.
If you are willing/able to help out and share your school experiences and photos please contact Suzanne (0428 731 921/ email@example.com)
We look forward to co-creating and sharing this wonderful day together.
