Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian school providing education from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The school is a fully accredited and registered educational institution and is a proud member of Steiner Education Australia (SEA). We offer a high quality education which is based on the indications given by Rudolf Steiner and which meets the requirements of the NSW Board of Studies, Teaching and Education Standards.
Our School is located approximately six kilometres west of picturesque Byron Bay, nestled beneath the St Helena escarpment and on the edge of wetlands and pockets of original and regenerated bushland. Our students are drawn from across the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
The beautiful land on which our school is built has a history stretching back to the beginning of the Dreaming. We are privileged to have the use of it now. We acknowledge that our school is on the lands of the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung Nation, and pay our respects to elders both past and present. We acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians and non-Aboriginal Australians to the education of all children and people on this land and in this magnificent part of country.
