School Induction

If you want to use the school’s facilities for sports training, workshops, performances etc and CBRSS students are participating in the activity, you must:

  1. Ensure you have an understanding of your responsibilities and obligations in regards to Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting.
  2. Supply the school with your current Working With Children Check and your date of birth for verification purposes.  These fields are included on the Application to Hire Facilities/Resources form and these fields must be completed if students are part of your activity.
  3. Watch the Induction video (see tab above)
  4. Sign the declaration stating you have understood your obligations, and this will automatically be sent to us (see tab above).

CBRSS Child Protection Policy


This Policy document is intended to be provided and made available to staff including employees and contractors during their employment or engagement with the school to ensure a clear understanding of their duties and obligations under the key items of child protection legislation in NSW. This Policy outlines the key concepts and definitions under the relevant legislation including mandatory reporters, reportable conduct, and risk management. It also sets out expected standards of behaviour in relation to employees and contractors and their relationships with students.
