CBRSS High School students go ‘Blue for Nauru’

As part of children’s week, the SRC organised the high school to join the campaign ‘#kids off Nauru‘ to bring awareness to our community and our Government about the inhumane treatment of refugees in detention centres. During lunch time the students had an opportunity to speak to a paediatrician in Sydney who is looking after the refugee children from Nauru. This was a great opportunity to get an insight into what is actually happening to the children and families trapped on Nauru and how they are being treated.
