It’s lovely to see everyone back safely from the term break. It always seems like the younger children have really grown and changed over the mid-year break and this year was no exception.
We have had a smooth, though busy start to the term. Our Year 10 students enjoyed their city camp in Melbourne in the first week and Class 4 are up at Midgenbill Hill this week.
The exciting news at the beginning of the week was that we had the hand-over of our new Innovation Centre. The architect (Michael Leung) and builder (Field Construction Group) have done an extraordinary job to create a truly beautiful, unique and specialised building for us. The building has been completed well before the due date and to an amazing standard. The finishing touches are just being done now and we hope to have classes happening in the building by the beginning of the next Main Lesson. We look forward to showing the community through the building at our Spring Fair.
The Spring Fair Committee are working hard as we move closer to our special 30th Birthday Spring Fair. As this is a wonderful event and an important part of the life of our school community, I encourage you to get involved in whatever way you can.
