Class Six Physics Projects

Class Six has had a year of learning about science with main lessons on; Acoustics, Light, Electrostatics, Magnetism and Heat. As a project to help extend their learning the children were asked to make a working model that portrayed a physics property. The children worked in collaboration with their parents to choose from a variety of plans, collect the materials required and assemble their project, trouble shooting any problems along the way. Finally they brought in their finished working model to share with a school audience. The projects are varied and fabulous and show the hard work and effort of the children. Included projects; morse code, an electromagnetic crane, hot air balloons, hydraulic lifts, circuit game quiz, even a bluetooth speaker!

If you’re curious and wish to see more, the students will be sharing their work at the Spring Fair from 12 – 1:15pm in Class Six.
